ALAPPUZHA: The letter and voice message of Jolly Madhu, who filed a complaint against workplace harassment in the Coir Board, written before her death has surfaced. Her voice message said that she faced retaliation for not supporting the corruption. Former Coir Board chairman Kuppu Ramu Dorai Pandya said the complaint of Jolly's family is serious.

Jolly, a cancer survivor, died recently following brain hemorrhage. With this, her family turned against the coir board. The family alleged that Jolly faced mental harassment from high-ranking officials. An investigation has also been initiated into this.

Jolly Madhu's voice message makes it clear that she was constantly mentally harassed by high-ranking officials at the coir board for not cooperating with the corruption. Jolly said they took revenge on her when she filed the complaint. Jolly levelled serious allegations against coir board chairman Vipul Goyal and former secretary Jitendra Shukla. The family said Jolly collapsed due to the brain hemorrhage while writing the letter seeking mercy and has also requested not to harm her. In the letter, written in English in her own handwriting, Jolly wrote that she was scared and did not have the courage to speak to the chairman.
