PALAKKAD: Hindu Aikya Vedi leader K P Sasikala came to the fore insulting rapper Vedan. She asked whether rap music is a unique art form of Scheduled Caste and Tribes. The society is being humiliated in front of the naked dances of rappers like Vedan, said Sasikala while talking at an event organized by the Hindu Aikya Vedi in Palakkad.

‘'Is rap music the unique art form of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes here? What all unique art forms do they have? Is that tribal culture? Is that how they should declare their identity? When a programme is organized using the funds of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Department, should rap music that has no connection with them be included?' asked Sasikala.

‘Today, the society is being humiliated in front of the naked dances of rappers like Vedan. The government's method of listening to these drug users should be changed. The unfortunate situation of bringing tens of thousands of people to the stage and making them jump in front of these rappers. It is not about begging the government that it is time to end the system by making these people dance to their tunes, Hindu Aikya Vedi has come to dictate,’ said Sasikala.
