KOLLAM: Rapper Vedan’s songs are propagating caste terrorism, said Dr N R Madhu, editor of RSS mouthpiece Kesari. Madhu was speaking while inaugurating the concluding meet of the consecration anniversary of Puthiyidathu Sree Parvathy Devi Temple in Kollam.

‘This is an art form that poisons the growing generation. Such performances should not be enacted in temples. It is clear that dark forces dreaming of dividing the country are behind him. It is necessary to prevent such art forms from entering temples,' said Madhu.

In his speech, Madhu made some controversial remarks on people eating shawarma. He said that if you walk through the streets of Kerala in the evening, you feel like walking through a graveyard and there we eat (corpse) ‘shava varma'. Many people have died in Kerala after eating shawarma. There is no Muhammad, no Ayesha and no Thomas, but only varmas. That is probably why it became shawarma. The one who eats this food and dies after eating it to satisfy his hunger is called a Hindu,' was Madhu's controversial remark.
