THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM State Secretary M.V. Govindan has reacted to the ongoing discussions in the Congress regarding the change of leadership in the KPCC. Govindan said that there is an explosion going on in the Congress. "It doesn't matter who the Congress President is, the explosion going on in the Congress will not end even in 2026, and Sudhakaran himself is saying that the Congress is trying to sideline him," Govindan responded.
Meanwhile, Sudhakaran met senior Congress leader A.K. Antony during the leadership change discussions. Sudhakaran said that he is willing to leave the post if the decision is to change the President and asked to avoid insulting him through public discussions. Sudhakaran accused some people of deliberately spreading the news that he is unwell.
