'Pinarayi himself will lead LDF, those two leaders will also be there'; MA Baby confirms

NEW DELHI: CPM General Secretary MA Baby confirms that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan himself will lead the LDF in the assembly elections to be held this year. Baby said that Pinarayi Vijayan, who is a popular leader and has led Kerala to unparalleled development for ten years, will lead the front.

"The most prominent leader in Kerala today is Pinarayi Vijayan. He is a capable, efficient and popular leader, which is why he is being attacked," MA Baby said. He added that Jose K. Mani and Binoy Viswam will be at the forefront to lead the front's fight in the elections.

"Preparations for the elections will not be centered on any one person. The LDF is a front of many parties, and all its key leaders will be there to lead the election activities. Leaders of all parties will be in the leadership position in the LDF fight. Binoy Viswam, Jose K. Mani and others will be there. CPM State Secretary M.V. Govindan will be there. We will also come to help," MA Baby clarified.

Baby said that there are many leaders in the UDF who dream of becoming the Chief Minister. He added that those in the Left Democratic Front are lovers of people's politics and that the doubt of who will take on different responsibilities in it will be answered when that question comes up before the LDF.
