Suresh Gopi to become active in movies after LS election, says priority is for movies till Assembly polls

THRISSUR: Actor-turned politician Suresh Gopi said that he will give priority to acting in the next two years. The NDA candidate in Thrissur said he has asked time till six months before the assembly elections to do movies. "There are some movies I would like to do. I could only do two of them," Suresh Gopi said.

Suresh Gopi said that whether he is a Union Minister or not, he has asked the leadership to give five ministers to fulfill the needs of people and if he becomes an MP, he can work better than the Union Minister. "I have asked for the help of departments to complete 25 percent of what I want to do in Kerala," Suresh Gopi said.

"People are aware of cross voting. People must have studied with the results of 2019. I'm not worried about it. The leaders said that their confidence has doubled after the polls. The long line in front of the booths will become a reason for people not coming to vote in future elections. It should be investigated whether this is part of a conspiracy. The absence of experienced officers and deploying less experienced officers into election duties reduced the speed of voting. There was no drinking water in the booths. Long queues should have been avoided," Suresh Gopi said.

Suresh Gopi also responded to the allegations of bogus voting in Thrissur. "No one came out of the grave and voted. That is their tradition. It has been done for years. Those on the list are entitled to vote. Check if you people have voted in two places," he added.
