THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM has appointed a commission of inquiry against EP Jayarajan and P Jayarajan who have made accusations against each other in the resort controversy. EP complains that there was a conspiracy against him but he denied it when the matter was taken up in the state secretariat. According to this, an investigation was announced against P Jayarajan.
P Jayarajan's allegation was that EP Jayarajan made illegal financial transactions with the Ayurvedic resort of Morazha in Kannur. But EP Jayarajan's explanation to the CPM state secretariat was that there is no direct connection with the Ayurvedic resort and that his son and wife are board members. P Jayarajan later took a step back from strongly backing the allegation.
P Jayarajan did not file a complaint despite the state secretariat's request that the matter could be discussed if the complaint was submitted in writing. It is learned that P Jayarajan is maintaining restraint on the matter as requested by other senior leaders. But the two leaders clashed again at the state secretariat, where EP alleged that there was a conspiracy led by P Jayarajan and that personal defamation was being carried out against
