WASHINGTON: A shooting incident was reported in Michigan State University campus in America. One person was killed and several others were injured in two separate shootings inside the campus. The shooting took place in Berkey Hall and IM East near the academic building.
The police evacuated those who were in the campus. The accused has not been arrested yet. The university was closed for 48 hours following the shooting. The University of Michigan is home to over 50,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The police have released the picture of the suspect.
UPDATE: The suspect has been located off campus. It appears he has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. There is no longer a threat to campus and the shelter-in-place has been lifted. pic.twitter.com/6s2KGvoKpV
