Megastar Mammootty and Lijo Jose Pellissery's debut film Nanpakal Neerath Mayakkam has received rave reviews from the theatres. The film received a standing ovation at the IFFK as well. The popular film award was also for Nanpakal. Now the film is also reaching OTT. The film will start streaming on Netflix from February 23. Mammootty and Netflix announced the streaming date through social media. The tweet of Netflix is ​​with the note 'wait without sleeping'.

Nanpakal Neerath Mayakkam hit theaters on January 19. Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films released the first film produced by Mammootty company. The cinematography was done by Theni Eshwar and Mammootty will be seen in the roles of Malayalee James and Tamilian Sundaram. Lijo's story is scripted by S Harish. Ramya Pandian, Ashokan, Kainakari Thangaraj, Suresh Babu, Chetan Jayalal, Ashwant Ashok Kumarsa Rajesh Sharma, and others have played other characters.
