Ciza Thomas should be appointed in Thiruvananthapuram itself; administrative tribunal with order

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Administrative Tribunal asks to appoint Ciza Thomas in Thiruvananthapuram itself. The order was on the petition of Ciza. Ciza was earlier removed from the position of Senior Joint Director and no other posting was given. It was indicated that she would be shifted out of Thiruvananthapuram.

Among the senior professors in Thiruvananthapuram, Ciza Thomas was given the charge as she was ready to take over the post of VC as per the instructions of the Governor. At that time she was the Senior Joint Director and Senior Professor of Technical Education Department. But the government did not give permission to her to take the post of VC. Ciza Thomas took over the additional charge of VC despite the opposition of the government.
