Brothers running drug cartel caught from Alappuzha; police also find cannabis in house

ALAPPUZHA: Two were caught with MDMA and other banned substances in Alappuzha. Interestingly, the arrested two are brothers. Alappuzha special squad circle inspector Mahesh led the mission to bust the gang running actively illegal substances in the district. The raid was conducted near Ashramam junction in the house of Sunil Kumar.

The seized items include 3.5 gm MDMA, 350 gm marijuana, and additionally, some weeds that were deftly grown in the house premises, later plucked down by the officers. The two sons of Sunil Kumar named Ajayjith and Abhijith were arrested by the police. The two ran the business after laboriously bringing the banned substances from Bangalore to sell in Kerala.
