LONDON: UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak made a new announcement to prevent illegal immigration into the country. Rishi Sunak said that those who enter the UK illegally will not get asylum. The Prime Minister clarified this in a tweet which included in the draft law, called the Illegal Migration Bill.

"If you come here illegally, you can't claim asylum. You can't benefit from our modern slavery protections. You can't make spurious human rights claims and you can't stay," tweeted Rishi Sunak.
If you come to the UK illegally you will be stopped from making late claims and attempts to frustrate your removal.

You will be removed in weeks, either to your own country if it is safe to do so, or to a safe third country like Rwanda. pic.twitter.com/8NFaa4DbwT
Under the draft law, Home Secretary Suella Braverman will be given new legal powers to deport all migrants who enter illegally, overturning other rights under UK and European human rights law.
Those arriving illegally in the UK will be detained. Then they will then be sent back to their home countries within weeks. Or they will be sent to countries like Rwanda. Illegal immigrants from the US or Australia will never be able to enter Britain again. “The current environment is neither ethical nor sustainable. This cannot continue. Moreover, it is unfair that even those who need it most cannot come to the country because asylums are overflowing due to illegal immigration.”, Sunak said. Rishi Sunak also said that strict action will be taken against those who cross the English Channel in small boats. Last year alone, more than 45,000 people arrived in the UK on small boats.
