Actor Mammootty says having bad cough and breathing issues since returned, seeks permanent solution on Brahmapuram issue

KOCHI: The city continues to reel under the toxic smoke emanating from the waste plant in Brahmapuram. Actor Mammootty sought a permanent solution to the fire issue. The people in Kochi can no longer live suffocating. Talking to a media he said that he can’t live waking up in the night and gasping for breath.

The actor said that he was in Pune for the past few days shooting for a film. He returned home the other day and is having cough since then. This developed into breathing issues. He responded that when he spoke to many people, came to know that they were staying away from home.

The problem not only in Kochi and its surrounding areas but also in the neighboring districts. The administrators have the responsibility to solve the problems of Brahmapuram. If the solution is not here, asks to adopt good examples from outside.
