Rain with lightning to hit Kerala; disaster management issues warning

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state is expected to receive rains with lightning for the coming two days. In the next three hours, there are high chances of rain in districts including Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, and Ernakulam, the central meteorological department informed.

Lightning can be dangerous warns the officials. This can tamper the electric lines and can strike humans and animals who are venturing down in the rain. The officials have prepared a list of to-do things as a caution for the turbulent two days.
