ED, Income Tax department conduct raid at DCC secretary's house in Thiruvananthapuram; documents seized

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Enforcement Directorate and the Income Tax Department conducted a joint raid at DCC Secretary Nadira Suresh's house in Thiruvananthapuram. The raid, which started on Monday afternoon, continued till 8.30 pm on Tuesday. The central agencies conducted the raid at Nadira's house in Mannanthala.

It is reported that an investigation was conducted related to the financial dealings of Nadira's husband Suresh. There are also indications that some documents were taken away by the ED and the Income Tax Department after the investigation. Sources said that the investigation was conducted after it was alleged that Suresh Kumar is Faris Abubacker's benami.
