The muscular broad-chested, hairy tufts and the more than 10 cm sharp canines are enough to shake our legs. Lions are revered and feared, and the king as he gets addressed. However, the legends of the beast or the fear-instilling features served no good in front of some sleepy street dogs in Gujarat. An incident happened in Gir Somnath village in Gujarat when the poor King ventured out to see his disciples but had to flee after attacks came from some little mangy dogs.

In the video emerged the lion can be seen walking when the alerted dogs start barking and approach the shaking beast. The dogs up the game and circled the lion after which the big one was forced to retreat. The lion was then seen running towards a herd of cattle nearby. Whatever the case, the video is an instant hit on social media and has shaken the credibility of the big cat's reign as the King.
