THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V D Satheesan termed as double standard and ridiculous in connection with the visit of BJP leaders to Bishop's houses in the state on Easter day. His response was through a Facebook post.
A BJP minister told people that Christians should be attacked in Karnataka, where assembly elections have been announced. The minister alleged that their visit is for conversion. He said the BJP is showing the same attitude towards the Christian community across the country.
Almost 600 mosques have been attacked in the country in four years. Many, including priests, are still in jail. The RSS’ stand is to withdraw even the Bharat Ratna conferred to Mother Teresa. He added that BJP leaders are visiting the bishops’ houses to hide their anti-Christian attitudes and atrocities against them.
