Two schoolboys drown at Aripara Waterfalls in Thiruvambadi

KOZHIKODE: Two students drowned while taking bath at Aripara Waterfalls in Thiruvambadi. The deceased are Aswanth Krishna and Abhinav, who were part of a 14-member gang from Mankavu in Kozhikode that visited the Waterfalls today. Aswanth Krishna is a class 9 student and Abhinav is in class 8. Five students of the gang met with the accident, three of them were rescued.

The incident happened while they were bathing in the falls around 2 pm on Sunday. The security officials who heard the screams of the others reached the spot and took them out, but two of them were in serious condition. They were rushed to the hospital but were declared dead.
