Banks have not been asked to freeze accounts where UPI transactions have been made, explains Kerala Police

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Police explained that they have not asked the banks to freeze accounts where UPI transactions have been made. According to the official Facebook page, the police said they had given instructions to freeze accounts that regularly commits fraud.

If there are complaints in freezing of accounts, you can contact in this number 1930. The police said in the post that some states have reportedly directed banks to impose restrictions on accounts following complaints on the national portal.
