CPM approves commission reports; suspense in Alappuzha

cpm-central-committe

ALAPPUZHA: The CPM party investigative reports have been approved said CPM state secretary M V Govindan. The report mostly pointed to flaws in electoral organizing and the infighting among party members. With the approval, all eyes will be shifted to Alappuzha waiting for the party's decisions on the factional split within CPM.

The factional split in Alappuzha took its worst shape during the elections. The CPM state secretary has called for disciplinary actions against cadres not conforming to party standards. There are six commission reports regarding the ruckus in Alappuzha CPM. P K Biju and P T Ramakrishnan headed investigative reports are currently in front of party leadership.

Councilor M Shanavas’s dubious drug deals, Kumarapuram corporative bank scam, and a woman party member’s nude shot on mobile phone are a few among many cases investigated by the commission in Alappuzha.

Earlier, reports were made regarding the fall in the duty of party workers in Kuttanad but no actions followed. Many accusations are currently directed at the Alappuzha branch and the CPM delaying its action will only rise up suspense among party watchers and journalists.
