THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: IMA state president Zulfi Nuhu said the era when Kerala had the best doctors will change now as the brightest students are not opting for MBBS. Zulfi said that the fact there are fewer job opportunities in the state is also prompting the youth to take this decision.

"Only those who get the highest marks will get jobs in Kerala. With the increase in the number of incidents of attacks against doctors, the new generation is afraid to enter the medical field. It is a very dangerous situation," Zulfi Nuhu said. He said this during Kaumudy TV's 'Straight Line' programme.
