BENGALURU: In a terrible incident, Bhavya, an 18-year-old girl from Tumkur district in Karnataka fell prey to fire after the mobile phone she was using quickly caught fire inside the petrol pump. The victim's mother got seriously injured in the incident. Bhavya was on the phone while the worker was filling petrol in a can.
The gore incident happened on Wednesday. Bhavya and her mother Ratnamma came to the pump with a can to take petrol. Ratnamma was seen taking in the phone while Bhavya seated in her vehicle was using phone while the petrol was getting filled. In a spur of a moment, the fire started from the mobile phone. A video has been released that shows the fire creeping all over Bhavya in no time. Ratnamma was seen running away from the sight. Bhavya was under treatment at Victoria Hospital Bengaluru where she succumbed to injuries. According to the medical bulletin, Ratnamma has surpassed the scare and will need proper care to return back to normalcy.
