Ammathottil gets one more guest, named 'Venal'

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Child Welfare Committee gets its 66th guest. A boy was received from Ammathottil at 4.20 am yesterday. The six-month-old baby was named Venal. With this, there are 34 boys and 32 girls in the Samithi. Eight children were adopted after the new administration took over. The work of establishing Ammathottil in all the districts of the state is in progress. At present, there are nine adoption protection centers under the Child Welfare Committee across the state. Child Welfare Committee General Secretary GL Arungopi said that steps are in progress to increase it to 14.
