Civil services results announced; Girls on top three ranks, Malayali Gahana bags sixth rank

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the results of Civil Services exam held in 2022. Ishita Kishore has bagged the first rank. Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N, Smriti Mishra grabbed second, third and fourth ranks.

Malayali Gahana Navya James has got sixth rank. Seven girls have found a place in the first ten ranks. S Gautham Raj has secured 63rd rank.

Mayur Hasarika has got the fifth rank. A total of 933 people has been recommended for various services including 180 people for IAS.

345 have been qualified in general category, 99 in EWS category, 263 in OBC category, 154 in SC category and 72 in ST category in the civil service exam.

Malayalees Arya V M secured 36th rank and Anoop Das got 38th rank. It is heard that 10 Malayalees have made it to the top 100. H S Bavana, Vaishnavi Paul and Malini S have got 55th, 62nd and 81st ranks respectively.

The preliminary exam was on June 5, 2022. The main exam was conducted from September 16 to 25. The results were declared on December 6. The interviews ended on May 18.
