NEW DELHI: KPCC chief K Sudhakaran said the police are examining his financial transactions. The intelligence department of the police is investigating. He said that his wife received a letter to inform about the account details. While talking to the media, he said that he is not interested in extending the Youth Congress elections.
The vigilance has started a preliminary investigation into the financial sources of K Sudhakaran. As part of this, a notice was issued to the school principal seeking the salary details of his wife. The Kozhikode Vigilance Unit is investigating.
K Sudhakaran had the other day said that his resignation from the post of KPCC chief is a closed chapter. He told the media that he would file a defamation case against CPM state secretary M V Govindan and Desabhimani newspaper for levelling baseless allegations against him in the Monson case. He said that he expressed his willingness to resign as an accused in the case. However, Sudhakaran said that he is accepting the demand of the high command and senior leaders to continue in the post.
