Bigg Boss winner Akhil Marar to direct Joju's debut as writer

Joju George is changing his forte to turn into a scriptwriter. According to new reports, Joju will pen the script for a new film that stars Big Boss contestants Junaiz VP and Sagar Soorya. Interestingly, the movie will be directed by Big Boss winner Akhil Marar. Joju’s debut with pen will see a story with Thrissur as the background. The shooting will commence on August 1 in Thrissur.

Porinju Maryam Jose was also a Thrissur-based movie. The movie upped Joju's rank inside the industry and helped him jump into the realm of a protagonist from his usually tried supporting role characters. Sagar Soorya is a known face with few movies in account but is well appreciated for his role in the Mazhivil Manorama series Thateem Mutteem. Junaiz is a TikTok influencer and has a serious following on Instagram. Akhil Marar has directed a movie named “Oru Thatveeka Avalokanam” which had Joju in the protagonist role.
