Rising prices: UDF to intensify strike against Govt

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The UDF meeting held on Monday decided to organize a strong agitation against the government using price hikes as a weapon. Leader of Opposition VD Satheesan said in a press conference that all the constituent parties of UDF will participate in the Bahuswaratha Sangamam (pluralistic meet) organized against the Uniform Civil Code.

With the decision of the Muslim League not to participate in the seminar organized by the CPM on the Uniform Civil Code, the UDF held the meeting yesterday with the confidence that the political uncertainty was over. Heavy criticism was also raised against PV Anvar MLA, who frequently threatens the media.
