19 year old girl who went swimming with her father drowns to death

WAYANAD: 19-year-old girl drowned while swimming in the pool. The incident took place at Kumbaleri in Wayanad Ambalavyal. Sona, daughter of Puzhukudiyil Varghese and Sheeja who lives near Kumbaleri Crusher is the one who died. The incident happened today at 5:30 am.

The accident happened in the pond near the house, which was constructed for agricultural purposes by excavating soil. Sona got stuck in the mud when she went swimming with her father. Locals who came to know about the incident tried to save the child but could not. The fire brigade came from Bateri and took out the body at 7 o'clock. Sona is a second-year undergraduate student at St. Mary's College, Sultan Bathery.
