Two friends found hanging from trees in Thiruvananthapuram

NEDUMANGAD: In a shocking incident, two youngsters were found hanging from two trees on a plantation. The deceased have been identified as Nedumangad Uliyoor native Vijeesh (26) and Varkala native Shyam (26). The bodies of the two youths were found hanging from two cashew trees that stood close to each other at Thellikuzhy in Poovathur. It was the locals who found the two bodies yesterday night.

Vijeesh was a JCB driver. He had gone missing on Friday evening. His relatives were about to file a complaint in this regard to the police. Locals said that a bike was found abandoned near Vijeesh's house two days ago. The relatives of the two youths do not know how Vijeesh and Shyam became friends. Vijeesh is the son of Alphonson and Vijayamma. He has a brother named Mahesh. The Nedumangad police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
