Air India Express bound to Sharjah makes emergency landing

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An Air India Express flight bound to Sharjah from Tiruchirapally made an emergency landing due to a technical snag. The technical snag was detected as soon as the flight took off from Tiruchirapally. Soon decided to make an emergency landing at the Thiruvananthapuram airport.

After receiving emergency directions, high alert was issued in and around the airport. Necessary arrangements were also made at the airport. The problem is reported to be a faulty landing gear. There are no other issues presently. All the passengers are safe.
