NEW DELHI: A fight between a couple onboard Lufthansa flight to Bangkok, was diverted to Delhi on Wednesday. Lufthansa flight LH 772, which was flying from Munich airport in Germany to Bangkok, made an emergency landing at the Delhi airport.
A dispute broke out between the two and later turned to a loud altercation on board. Though the authorities intervened and tried to pacify the two, it was not successful. With this, the pilot decided to make an emergency landing.
The Delhi Airport Aviation Security Department said they did not know what was the cause of the problem between the two and after realizing that the problem was serious decided to land in Delhi.
The flight had first sought permission to land at Pakistan airport but was denied. It later landed in Delhi. After this, the man was taken into custody.
