Human body parts in car caught in vehicle inspection? Indications that it was subjected to black magic

CHENNAI: Suspected human organs were found in a car crossing from Kerala to Tamil Nadu. The police caught the trio at Uttamapalayam along the Kerala border while on their way to Theni in Tamil Nadu. Organs like tongue, heart and liver were found in the Scorpio car they were travelling in. It has not been confirmed whether these are human.

The police found the body parts in a condition that seemed like they were packed after a religious ritual. Therefore, it is suspected that the body parts were used for witchcraft. The accused told the police that they brought the body parts out of the belief that keeping them at home would increase their wealth. The accused also admitted during interrogation that they bought the organs from Pathanamthitta district. The police will have to rely on scientific tests to determine whether the seized organs are human.
