IDUKKI: Two students were found dead near the Thooval Waterfalls in Nedumkandam. The two were found dead in the reservoir near the waterfall. The dead have been identified as Sebin Saji (19) of Nedumkandam Thannimoodu Kunnapally and Anila (16) of Pambadumpara Adiyarpuram Kunnathumala. The initial conclusion is that they may have slipped and fallen.

Anila was a plus one student of Kallar Govt Higher Secondary School and Sebin Saji was a second year degree student. The two had visited the Thooval Waterfalls last afternoon. The relatives of the girl lodged a complaint with the police after she did not return home last evening.

The bodies have been shifted to Idukki Medical College Hospital. The bodies will be handed over to the relatives after post-mortem. The Nedumkandam police have registered a case of unnatural death and an investigation has started.
