Deshabhimani former associate editor G.Saktidharan has once again made revelations regarding the unaccounted cash handled by CPM leaders. Taking to Facebook, G Sakthidharan stated that it was he who received the money handed over by party well-wishers during the assembly by-election contested by former minister TK Ramakrishnan.

'During the Kottayam by-election, I was the one who received the money handed over by the well-wishers of the party. It was mostly the Abkaris who gave money to the party. The largest bundle of notes received that day came from black sand businessman Sasidharan Kartha. It was K Venugopal, former Deputy General Manager at Desabhimani, who received the money from Kartha,' Sakthidharan wrote.

'P Rajeev used to say every now and then that a "big shot" will come. However, this "big shot" gave less than five lakh rupees to the party,' Sakthidharan wrote.
