CPM selects S Satheesh as Ernakulam district secretary

KOCHI: Former DYFI state president S Satheesh has been selected as the CPM Ernakulam district secretary. The decision was taken at the district committee meet attended by CPM state secretary M V Govindan. Satheesh had served as the vice chairman of the state youth board and a member of the CPM state committee. He is a native of Kothamangalam. He is also a leader who has been at the forefront of protests among the youth.

While talking to the media, he said that he will fulfil his responsibility according to the party's views. There is no relevance in generational change. People from all generations are in the party. Right-wing politics will be shown openly. Satheesh also said that more people will be brought closer to the Left.

S Satheesh, M P Pathrose, P R Muraleedharan, John Fernandes, K N Unnikrishnan, C K Pareeth, C B Devadarshanan, R Anil Kumar, T C Shibu, Pushpadas, K S Arun Kumar and Shaji Muhammed are secretariat members. K S Arun Kumar and Shaji Muhammed are the new faces.
