Actor Tovino Thomas suffers injury, ‘Nadikar Thilakam’ shooting stopped

Malayalam young star Tovino Thomas met with an accident while shooting his portions for Lal Jr. directed ‘Nadikar Thilakam’. The incident happened near Marampally and the actor suffered injuries on his legs. The doctors have advised two weeks’ rest for Tovino and minding this, the shooting has been called off. Lal Jr. meanwhile talked with the media and said the shooting would resume soon.

Tovino will enact the role of 'David Padikkal', a heartthrob among fans and a superstar in movies. 'Nadikar Thilakam' is being produced by Alan Antony and Anoop Venugopal under the banner of Godspeed. Maitri Movie Makers are also the production partners of the film. The cinematography is helmed by Lal Jr.'s usual pick Alby.

Bhavana is the female lead in the movie, which also includes Dhyan Sreenivasan, Anoop Menon, Shine Tom Chacko, Aju Varghese, Sreenath Bhasi, Lal, Balu Varghese, Suresh Krishna, Indrans, Madhupal, Ganapathy, Altaf Salim, Manikuttan, Sreejith Ravi, Sanju Sivaram, Arjun and Veena Nandakumar in prominent roles.
