Entry fee to glass bridge at Vagamon reduced to Rs.250

IDUKKI: Tourism Minister PA Mohammed Riyas announced that the entry fee to the glass bridge at Vagamon has been reduced from Rs.500 to Rs.250. During the inauguration of the glass bridge and later through social media, many people had requested the minister to take necessary intervention to reduce the entry fee. The minister then directed the Idukki District Collector to look into the matter. Following this, it was decided to reduce the entry fee. The new rate came into effect from yesterday morning. DTPC Secretary Bibish Jose said that about 4,000 people have visited the glass bridge so far.
