‘Govt sponsored massacre happened in Tanur;’ tourism department and minister responsible for tragedy, says K Sudhakaran

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC chief K Sudhakaran said the boat accident at Tanur in Malappuram was a government sponsored genocide. Tourism Minister P A Muhammed Riyas is responsible for the accident. Serious negligence of the departments led to the accident. In a Facebook post, he said an impartial investigation and strong action should be taken in this regard. He also informed that immediate compensation should be given to the relatives of the dead and the injured.
