Teachers going to this Gulf country after completing their B Ed beware

teacher

MANAMA: Expatriate teachers who have completed B Ed from India are at risk of disqualification in Bahrain. The crisis started when the teachers' certificates were subjected to inspection as per the directives of the ministry. The current finding is that the certificates are ineligible, including those of teachers who got jobs years ago. A few teachers were arrested for producing fake certificates.

The certificate is verified for the Ministry of Bahrain through an international agency called Quadra-Bay. According to the instructions of the Ministry, the educational institutions upload the original certificates of the teachers on Quadra-Bay and verify them. The reason for the ineligibility is that many universities that were recognized at the time of study have now lost their recognition. Also, the lack of international recognition for the B Ed course in Indian universities is a shame.
