Actress willing to be mother for Aparna Nair's daughter; Beena Antony and Manoj laud her compassion

Serial actress Aparna Nair recently took her own life. She hanged herself at her residence in Thaliyal, Karamana, Thiruvananthapuram. The suicide was reportedly due to family problems. Aparna leaves behind two children.

Aparna had been married twice. Her eldest child is from her first marriage and the father of this child is no longer in the picture. Her second child's father is her current husband. Following Aparna's tragic demise, this child was taken into custody by her husband. Aparna's elder daughter continues to live with her mother. This younger child has been under the care of her grandmother since the age of one. Actress Avantika Mohan has expressed her willingness to adopt this child, a revelation made by the celebrity couple Beena Antony and Manoj.

Aparna Nair and Avantika have previously acted together and Aparna used to bring her younger daughter to the set when she was just a baby. Avantika had a strong bond with the child during that time. Beena Antony revealed that after Aparna's passing, Avantika reached out to her and discussed the possibility of adopting the child.

‘She expressed her intention to care for the child as if she were her own son's sister and to provide for her. I explained that it wouldn't be an easy process and would require legal steps. We subsequently spoke with Aparna's daughter and mother. After Aparna's passing, her daughter didn't communicate with anyone for a week; it was a profound shock. Avantika and I visited them and discussed the adoption with Aparna's mother. However, she declined stating that her granddaughter should remain close to her for as long as she lives,’ clarified Beena Antony. The celebrity couple also commended Avantika's compassionate offer.
