LUCKNOW: Parents have complained that teachers are forcing their children to like and share posts on social media. The complaint also states that they are being forced to subscribe to social media accounts. The incident took place in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh.

According to the complaint, the teachers filmed reels while on duty at the school and shared them on Instagram. Students also alleged that if they do not like and share, they threaten to beat them. The parents have approached the District Magistrate seeking action in the incident. Block Education Officer Gangeshwari Aarti Gupta has been appointed to investigate the incident.

The complaints were mainly against teachers Ambika Goyal, Poonam Singh and Neetu Kashyap. However, the teachers rejected the complaints about making Instagram reels during duty. Children are taught lessons properly during school hours. They added that the videos that were made during school hours were related to the children's studies.
