Former president of Travancore devaswom board Dr N Babu dies

KOTTARAKKARA: Dr N Babu, former president of Travancore devaswom board, died Sunday early morning. He was 86. He was former vice chancellor of Kerala University. He will be laid to rest at 4 pm this evening in the premises of his house at Neduvathur in Kottarakkara.

He had worked as a lecturer in the Department of Zoology in various colleges, an officer in central government’s Inland Fisheries Research Institute and Vigyan Mandir, Director of School of Life Science and as controller of examinations in MG University. He also wrote an autobiography ‘Marikkatha Ormakal’.
