ALATHUR: P.K. Biju, the former MP of Alathur constituency, came to visit Pranav, a ten-year-old who suffered mentally after the debacle of LDF in the Lok Sabha polls which resulted in his memory loss. Following the declaration of results, the child was hospitalized at the Thrissur Medical College for ten days.

In a post on his FB page, P.K. Biju wrote about Pranav and his sufferings.

Facebook post:

Went to see Pranav. He is a ten-year-old who is the son of Mahesh and Sunitha from Vavulliyapuram in Kavassery Kazhani. He is a fifth standard student at Marcus Central School. Following the declaration of election results on May 23, the child was hospitalized at the Thrissur Medical College for ten days.

Pranav was devastated by the election debacle of LDF. Whenever he became conscious, he was haunted by these memories. The parents and doctors of Pranav told Vadakkanchery CPI (M) area secretary Comrade Balettan that the child expressed his desire to see me and from that moment I fixed this meeting in my mind.

I went to Pranav’s house with Kavassery Padoor local secretary Pramod. Pranav asked only one thing, a kiss. After giving sweets and a kiss, I said goodbye to Pranav after telling him to be strong during crisis and giving him the confidence that the victory will be ours.
