THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president K Surendran said the reason for the continuous occurrence of terrorist attacks in Kerala is the failure of the state government. He said the forces behind the Kalamassery bomb blast should be brought to light.
‘There were lapses on the side of the police in the Elathur train arson case and the accused leaving the state after that. The Pinarayi government is taking a soft approach against the banned terrorist organization Popular Front. It is certain that if the government's attitude towards terrorist forces is not corrected, Kerala will be in great danger.
Shocking bomb blasts are taking place in the state when gangsters, criminals and mafias unleash violence in the state. The reason why there are no bomb blasts in any other state in the country is due to the vigilance of the anti-terrorist forces there and coordination with the central agencies. However, there is no such coordination in the state. People are worried about the safety of Kerala when rulers who work only for vote bank are ruling,'' Surendran said.
It is suspicious that the police did not file a case despite the fact that a senior Hamas leader participated in a program held by Jamaat-e-Islami in Malappuram and gave a provocative speech. No case was registered even though anti-national slogans were raised in the pro-Hamas conference held by the Muslim League in Kozhikode. K Surendran also demanded that the ruling and opposition fronts in Kerala should end the soft approach shown to the terrorist and subversive forces.
