'BJP will win Tamil Nadu in five years'; Strategist Prasanth Kishor spill the beans at Chennai event

Master political strategist and tactician Prashant Kishor revealed his thoughts on how BJP could soon garner sway in south India. At a function held in Chennai to discuss the contemporary politics of India, Kishor predicted how the BJP would fare in the south, especially Tamil Nadu.

While on the questioning hour, Kishor received a query from the crowd that asked his opinion about the BJP’s playbook in Tamil Nadu. While responding, Kishor was forthright, as he said BJP could thrive in Tamil Nadu in the coming years.

“ I am not saying BJP will win elections in a fortnight. It needs time, but they are heading in the right direction. The groundwork is astute and in the coming three to five years, I see BJP as a major political force in Tamil Nadu. BJP will be stronger in Tamil Nadu than people would like to believe. “ Kishor opined.

Prashant Kishor's I-PAC helped DMK return to power in the 2021 Tamil Nadu elections. DMK was in opposition for nearly a decade and it was through Kishor that the Dravidian party returned back to the helm.

Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu BJP chief K. Annamalai has already tabled his aim which is to win 39 MP seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
