KOCHI: Police report no mystery in food vlogger Rahul N Kutty's suicide. They've collected statements from Rahul's family and friends. Rahul recently had surgery to reduce body fat which caused some minor health issues. Family states no financial or family problems led to his suicide.

Rahul was found dead by hanging in his home on Saturday morning. He was a vlogger in the food group 'Eat Kochi Eat' which showcases Kochi's flavours and restaurants. Rahul had a strong social media following and was active until a few days before his death. On Friday, he made a video about Unniyappam at Edappally Ganapati Temple.

The 'Eat Kochi Eat' community began in 2015, India's first Facebook-funded food community. Facebook allocated 50,000 dollars for their activities. The community now has over 4 lakh followers on Instagram.
