Keraleeyam: Kudumbashree records turnover of Rs 1.36 crores

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In Keraleeyam, organized from November 1 to 7, Kudumbashree's food court and product display and marketing stalls organized at Kanakakunnu earned a turnover of 1.36 crore rupees. Rs 87.99 lakh were received from the food court named 'Malayali Kitchen' alone.

The highest turnover at the food court was on November 7, the last day of Keraleeyam - Rs 18.56 lakh. Attapadi's Vanasundari, which stood out for its freshness and flavour, became the star of the food court with the highest turnover. Rs 15.63 lakhs were acquired by the entrepreneurs. Kudumbashree's product exhibition and marketing fair achieved the highest turnover on November 5 - Rs 10.08 lakh.

Fourteen canteen catering units operating in the Kudumbashree MSME sector participated in the food court. Food lovers flocked to Kudumbashree's 'Malayali Kitchen' from the opening day. The taste and variety of Kerala's native cuisine made 'Malayali Kitchen' a huge hit.
