PATHANAMTHITTA: Dr TM Thomas Isaac, the LDF candidate in Pathanamthitta, said that there was nothing wrong in going to the place where a Kudumbashree meeting was being held and seeking votes as a candidate. He was responding to the media after the Collector sought an explanation from him on the complaint he had violated the code of conduct. Isaac said that he did not participate in Kudumbashree's official program.

"I have many years of association with Kudumbashree. I was the chairman of the committee that formed that movement. The employment scheme 'Vijnana Pathanamthitta' was launched before the announcement of elections. It is implemented through K-DISC. K-DISC will continue that work. I am not getting involved in that now as I am a candidate. The Congress has come forward with a complaint due to its fear of failure. I will give a proper reply to the Collector's letter," Thomas Isaac said.

District Collector S Premkrishnan had sought an explanation from Isaac on the basis of the complaint that Isaac was using several employees of the state government organization K DISC and organizations like Harithasena and Kudumbashree for election campaigning.
