Mariyakutty has no assets of lakhs; CPM mouthpiece expresses regret against false propaganda

THODUPUZHA: CPM mouthpiece Desabhimani expressed regret for giving news that Mariyakutty has assets worth lakhs. It was earlier published that Mariyakutty, who protested by begging with an earthen pot for not getting welfare pension, has assets of lakhs and that her daughter is abroad. They expressed regret for the false propaganda.

Deshabhimani expressed regret for giving the news that Mariyakutty has her own land and that her daughter Princy is abroad. The CPM mouthpiece expressed regret when Mariyakutty was all ready to approach the high court against the false propaganda against her.

They regretted for the news that came with the heading 'Mariakutty's house is in the name of her daughter'. The house and land where Mariakutty lives is named after her youngest daughter Princy. Deshabhimani clarified that the news given is wrong.

After the news came, there was massive cyber-attack against her. With this, Mariakutty had released a certificate certified by the Mannankandam village officer of having no land in her name.
