Govt announces Rs 5 lakh compensation to kin of Kamalassery victims

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The cabinet that convened here today decided to give a financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to the families of the Kalamasssery blast victims. The incident happened on October 29. The medical expenses of those undergoing treatment, including in private hospitals, will also be borne by the government.


Panchayat land for Pinarayi Police Station
The gram panchayat's recommendation to give 25 cents of land owned by Pinarayi grama panchayat for the construction of a police station has been approved.

Govt guarantee
The government guarantee tenure of Rs 6 crore for Kerala Artisans Development Corporation will be extended for another five years from December 21, 2022.
An additional government guarantee of Rs 100 crore will be granted to the Kerala State Backward Classes Development Corporation for availing loans.
